About
Fathers is a free public library: a topic map of ante-Nicene teaching, whole works in edition order, and an Explore timeline that shows how writers line up on a claim across time.
Works online today include Origen’s On Prayer and Exhortation to Martyrdom, and Julian of Eclanum’s surviving arguments. Julian is early fifth century — labeled on those pages. Augustine appears first as contrast cards on Explore until his works are loaded.
English is newly prepared for study from the stated editions. It is not a complete critical edition and not a substitute for the Greek or Latin. Each work page states that briefly in its intro.
Explore stance tags are editorial readings for study — not rankings of who was right. Start with Free will over time.
