To Florus 3.136
The Manichaeans’ memory will perish with a crash, because ‘the Lord remains forever; he has prepared his throne for judgment, and he himself will judge the world with fairness’ (Psalm 9:6–8; LXX/Vulgate Psalm 9:7–9). There is no crime in God. He therefore does not create evil people: if they were evil by nature, God could not create them. Consequently, just as confessing God as creator of good beings belongs to catholics, believing God the creator of evil beings belongs specifically to Manichaeans.
