Against Julian 6.25.82

The proverb will no longer be used which says that parents ate sour grapes and their children’s teeth were set on edge. A son will not die for his father’s sin, nor a father for his son’s sin; the soul that sins will itself die. (Ezekiel 18:2–4,20)
