He put a veil over his face; entering to the Lord he removed it. The veil is the letter covering glory; in Christ it is taken away.

Ponebat velamen super faciem. Cum intraret ad Dominum, deponebat. Velamen — littera tegens gloriam; in Christo aufertur.
