Homilies on Ezekiel, Homilia XIV
The closed gate — the Lord passes through§1
1This gate shall remain shut; no one shall enter by it, for the Lord, the God of Israel, has entered by it. Ezekiel maps many temple gates for those who have ears.

2Again for those who have ears to hear: the Lord’s passing seals the gate — a mystery kept for the church. Glory to Christ Jesus forever. Amen.
