Casting into the treasury according to each one’s power
So let each contribute to the church’s building, bringing to the intelligible treasury what he can for God’s honor and the common benefit.
Since the householder gave five talents to one, two to another, and one to another, he accepts gifts not by quantity alone but by the givers’ power.

Ἕκαστος δὴ συνεισφερέτω εἰς οἰκοδομὴν τῆς ἐκκλησίας φέρων ἐπὶ τὸ νοητὸν γαζοφυλάκιον ἃ δύναται εἰς τιμὴν τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ ὠφέλειαν τοῦ κοινοῦ.
Ἐπεὶ δὲ ἔδωκεν ὁ οἰκοδεσπότης τῷ μὲν πέντε τάλαντα τῷ δὲ δύο τῷ δὲ ἕν, ἀποδέχεται οὐ τῇ ποσότητι μόνῃ ἀλλὰ τῇ δυνάμει τῶν βαλλόντων.
