Not a father of the devil beside the liar
One who argues for a father of the devil will use
But that is not sound. Better to fit “the lie” to the opposite of “I am the truth” — the antichrist — whose father is the devil.

Ὁ συναγορεύων τῷ εἶναί τινα τοῦ διαβόλου πατέρα χρήσεται τῷ· Ὅταν λαλῇ τὸ ψεῦδος… ψεύστης ἐστὶν καὶ ὁ πατὴρ αὐτοῦ.
Ἀλλ᾽ οὐχ ὑγιῶς· μᾶλλον τὸ ψεῦδος ἐφαρμόσει τῷ ἐναντίῳ τοῦ Ἐγώ εἰμι ἡ ἀλήθεια, τῷ ἀντιχρίστῳ, οὗ πατήρ ἐστιν ὁ διάβολος.
