Our works are either God’s or the devil’s
For us too, works are either God’s or the devil’s, and what we want to do is either desire of the good Father or of the enemy.
If we do God’s works, we are sons of God; if the devil’s, we are of the father the devil.

Καὶ ἐφ᾽ ἡμῶν τὰ ἔργα ἤτοι θεοῦ ἐστιν ἢ διαβόλου, καὶ ἃ θέλομεν ποιεῖν ἤτοι ἐπιθυμία τοῦ ἀγαθοῦ πατρὸς ἢ τοῦ ἐχθροῦ.
Εἰ μὲν ποιοῦμεν τὰ ἔργα τοῦ θεοῦ, υἱοί ἐσμεν τοῦ θεοῦ· εἰ δὲ τὰ τοῦ διαβόλου, ἐκ τοῦ πατρὸς τοῦ διαβόλου ἐσμέν.
