I am the resurrection and the life
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live.”
He does not only promise a future resurrection; being himself the resurrection he already acts.

Εἶπεν αὐτῇ ὁ Ἰησοῦς· Ἐγώ εἰμι ἡ ἀνάστασις καὶ ἡ ζωή· ὁ πιστεύων εἰς ἐμὲ κἂν ἀποθάνῃ ζήσεται.
Οὐ μόνον μέλλουσαν ἀνάστασιν ἐπαγγέλλεται ἀλλὰ καὶ αὐτὸς ὢν ἡ ἀνάστασις ἐνεργεῖ ἤδη.
