Jesus wept

Jesus wept. So the Jews said, “See how he loved him.”

He weeps condescending to human nature, loving his friend.

Ἐδάκρυσεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς. ἔλεγον οὖν οἱ Ἰουδαῖοι· Ἴδε πῶς ἐφίλει αὐτόν.

Δακρύει συγκαταβαίνων τῇ ἀνθρωπίνῃ φύσει, φιλῶν τὸν φίλον.
