Spirit resting and false spirit
The Spirit rests on the holy; an evil spirit plays its part wherever room is given. One baptizes with water; he on whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining — that is he. Scripture shows God’s Spirit sometimes present, sometimes withdrawn. The spirits are to be discerned.
Latin
Requiescit spiritus in sanctis et malus spiritus partes suas agit ubi locus datur. Baptizare in aqua alterius est; super quem videris spiritum descendentem et manentem, ipse est. Spiritus Dei aliquando adest, aliquando recessisse ostenditur. Discernendi sunt spiritus.
