All under sin; righteousness apart from works§1

1 There is no distinction; all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. They are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

Non est distinctio: omnes enim peccaverunt et egent gloria Dei. Iustitia Dei per fidem Iesu Christi in omnes qui credunt — non ex operibus legis, gratis per redemptionem quae est in Christo Iesu.

2God put forward Christ as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith, to show his righteousness — just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. Glory to God. Amen.
