Solomon the Peaceful; Christ our peace
Solomon is interpreted peaceful. But the Peaceful One is Christ, who made both one. Rightly, then, the Peaceful One writes the Song of peace and charity, in which Bridegroom and Bride meet in one covenant. Where Christ our peace dwells, there the Song of Songs is truly sung.

Salomon interpretatur pacificus. Pacificus vero Christus est, qui fecit utraque unum. Merito ergo pacificus scribit Canticum pacis et caritatis, in quo sponsus et sponsa in unum foedus conveniunt. Ubi Christus pax nostra habitat, ibi vere Canticum Canticorum canitur.
