Name above every name; every knee bows
Isaiah also says: ‘I am God, and after me there is no other. By myself I swear: righteousness shall go forth from my mouth; my words shall not be turned back; for every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.’ (Isa 45:22-23; Rom 14:11; Phil 2:9-11)
That this is said of Christ we have shown, for it is to him that every knee bows, of heavenly and earthly and under-earthly beings, and every tongue confesses him, though he underwent the economy of the passion.
