Sit at my right hand until enemies are footstool
And again David: ‘The Lord said to my Lord: Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.’ (Ps 110:1; Acts 2:34-35; Heb 1:13)
That this is said of no one else but of the Lord, who rules over all and is the Son of God, whom the Father has made to sit at his right hand, is plain. For David says ‘to my Lord’ — not speaking of himself. (Mt 22:43-45)
