Name and sabbath — Homilia VIII CLOSEOUT

You shall not take the Lord’s name in vain. Remember the sabbath day. A vain name is holy on the lips and foreign in the life. Sabbath is ceasing evil works to do the work of God. Amen.

Latin

Non assumes nomen Domini in vanum. Memento diem sabbati. Nomen vanum — ore sanctum, vita alienum. Sabbatum — cessatio operum malorum, opus Dei. Amen.
