Yet four months and the harvest comes: seasons of souls

“Do you not say, ‘There are still four months, and the harvest comes’? Lift up your eyes and see that the fields are white for harvest.”

Ask whether he speaks literally of farming’s harvest, or tropically of the harvest of those who believe.

Οὐχ ὑμεῖς λέγετε ὅτι ἔτι τετράμηνός ἐστι καὶ ὁ θερισμὸς ἔρχεται; ἐπάρατε τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς ὑμῶν καὶ θεάσασθε τὰς χώρας ὅτι λευκαί εἰσιν πρὸς θερισμόν.

ζητητέον πότερον κυριολεκτικῶς περὶ τοῦ κατὰ γεωργίαν θερισμοῦ λέγει ἢ τροπικῶς περὶ τοῦ τῶν πιστευόντων θερισμοῦ.
