After two days he left; a prophet has no honor in his homeland
After the two days he went out from there to Galilee. For Jesus himself testified that a prophet has no honor in his own homeland.
Ask what Jesus’ homeland is, and how his testimony is true: in Nazareth he did not do many mighty works, yet in Capernaum and Galilee many believed in him.

Μετὰ δὲ τὰς δύο ἡμέρας ἐξῆλθεν ἐκεῖθεν εἰς τὴν Γαλιλαίαν. αὐτὸς γὰρ Ἰησοῦς ἐμαρτύρησεν ὅτι προφήτης ἐν τῇ ἰδίᾳ πατρίδι τιμὴν οὐκ ἔχει.
Ζητητέον τίς ἡ πατρὶς τοῦ Ἰησοῦ, καὶ πῶς ἀληθὲς τὸ μαρτυρούμενον ὑπ᾽ αὐτοῦ, ἐπεὶ ἐν μὲν τῇ Ναζαρὲτ οὐκ ἐποίησεν δυνάμεις πολλάς, ἐν δὲ τῇ Καφαρναοὺμ καὶ τῇ Γαλιλαίᾳ πολλοὶ ἐπίστευσαν εἰς αὐτόν.
