One can become more a son of God than another
Paradoxically from the opposite side: one can be more a son of God than another — even twofold more.
According to progress and imitation of the one who loves enemies and blesses those who curse.

Παράδοξον δὲ καὶ ἐκ τῶν ἐναντίων· ἔστιν τινα ἑτέρου μᾶλλον υἱὸν θεοῦ εἶναι, καὶ διπλασιόνως ἕτερον ἑτέρου.
Κατὰ τὴν προκοπὴν καὶ τὴν μίμησιν τοῦ ἀγαπῶντος τοὺς ἐχθροὺς καὶ εὐλογοῦντος τοὺς καταρωμένους.
