The Passover near; they sought Jesus

They were seeking Jesus and saying, “What do you think? That he will not come to the feast?”

The feast-keeping crowd seeks the true Passover.

Ἦν δὲ ἐγγὺς τὸ πάσχα τῶν Ἰουδαίων… ἐζήτουν οὖν τὸν Ἰησοῦν καὶ ἔλεγον… Τί δοκεῖ ὑμῖν; ὅτι οὐ μὴ ἔλθῃ εἰς τὴν ἑορτήν;

Ὁ ἑορτάζων ὄχλος ζητεῖ τὸν ἀληθινὸν πάσχα.
