Λέγει αὐτῷ Σίμων Πέτρος· Κύριε, μὴ τοὺς πόδας μου μόνον ἀλλὰ καὶ τὰς χεῖρας καὶ τὴν κεφαλήν.

Ὁ λελουμένος οὐκ ἔχει χρείαν νίψασθαι εἰ μὴ τοὺς πόδας, ἀλλ᾽ ἔστιν καθαρὸς ὅλος.
