Letter and spirit of offering

Disciples of the new covenant do well to keep this law in due measure; some commands of the letter are kept with the Spirit. Alms and gifts for the poor honor Christ’s priesthood.

Hanc legem etiam novi testamenti discipuli aliquatenus observare convenit; sunt mandata litterae quae cum spiritu servantur. Eleemosyna et oblatio pauperum sacerdotium Christi honorant.
