ON THE WORSHIP AND SERVICE IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH — BOOK SIXTEENTH. That it is necessary for us to bring-forward spiritual sacrifices and gift-bearings to God. Sufficient on the one hand then, just as I at least think, the having-been-said toward the needing to go nobly unto a rubbing-off of sin, and unto a cleansing-away the through Christ, every on the one hand filth the in us to wipe being able, and with the of the Spirit working melting-together, and washed-out and holy to show knowing. Therefore also sacred for us the word such, the of the Spirit working unto us about-to-be has cried-up-before saying: ‘That suddenly will come unto his temple Lord, whom you seek, and the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire. Behold he comes, says Lord Almighty, and who will endure a day of his entrance? And who will stand-under in his appearing? Because he enters as fire of a furnace, and as soap of ones washing. ΠΕΡΙ ΤΗΣ ΕΝ ΠΝΕΥΜΑΤΙ ΚΑΙ ΑΛΗΘΕΙΑ ΠΡΟΣΚΥΝΗΣΕΩΣ ΚΑΙ ΛΑΤΡΕΙΑΣ ΛΟΓΟΣ ΕΚΚΑΙΔΕΚΑΤΟΣ. Ὅτι χρὴ προσάγειν ἡμᾶς θυσίας πνευματικὰς καὶ δωροφορίας Θεῷ.
