Cyril: …for the of those under hand and authority vows, the of the impiety he brings-upon a writing, if not to fulfill they should choose the having-been-promised. And they deny also the to be released needing of sins he apportions; for of a choice, and not of a necessity fruits the unto God dedications. (Numbers 30:5-8) (2 Corinthians 9:7)

ταῖς τῶν ὑπὸ χεῖρα καὶ ἐξουσίαν εὐχαῖς, τὴν τῆς δυσσεβείας ἐπιφέρει γραφὴν, εἰ μὴ πληροῦν ἕλοιντο τὰ ἐπηγγελμένα. Ἀποφάσκουσι δὲ καὶ τὸ ἀνεῖσθαι δεῖν ἁμαρτιῶν ἀπονέμει· προαιρέσεως γὰρ, καὶ οὐκ ἀνάγκης καρποὶ τὰ εἰς Θεὸν ἀναθήματα.
