Daniel’s books opened; Son of Man; not only the youthful enrolled
I think it superfluous for the present to gather the proofs; yet for those wishing it is possible even very easily if they should choose to do this.
Palladius: Therefore as in a type according to Moses and Aaron through Christ would come to be the enrollment of those playing the man.
Cyril: Thus I say; for what is beside blessed Daniel carries us unto the word upon this, not having an unpersuasive suspicion.
Palladius: What sort of thing do you say?
Cyril: For he has seen the Father as in elderly stature, crowned with white gray hair, and distinguished in garments in a form of snow, and said that ‘And books were opened, and a court sat, and I saw. And behold with the clouds of the heaven one as a Son of man coming, and he arrived until the Ancient of days, and was brought before him; and to him was given the rule, and the honor and the kingdom.’ For when the Only-begotten has come to be in the form according to us, then also the Father opened books, and let go from judging
Palladius: Only therefore the youthful and manly, and somehow already thoughtful, is in God’s enrollment, and in a book of living, and everything not such unapproved—or how?
Cyril: Casting a precise and woken mind into what is Written, you will know the true. For not only what is in youth, and having come to be in the twentieth year, is enrolled, but it has been ordered that every male. Or do you not understand what I say?
Palladius: I understand.
Cyril: Therefore, if one should also carefully work out the manner of those suited unto being able to succeed at virtue very well of the manliness understood in Christ, those who have driven unto this glory will have their own enrollment, as already manly and most fight-ready, and

{ΠΑΛΛ.} Τὸ ποῖον τί φής;
