Εἶτα βάλλει ὕδωρ εἰς τὸν νιπτῆρα καὶ ἤρξατο νίπτειν τοὺς πόδας τῶν μαθητῶν.
Οὐ πρὸ τοῦ δείπνου μόνον τὸ λουτρόν, ἀλλὰ μετὰ τὸ δειπνῆσαι δεύτερον ὕδωρ εἰς μόνους τοὺς πόδας.
