The Passover is not a type of the passion
And that the Passover is intelligible and not this sensible one, he himself says: "Unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood, you have no life in yourselves." Must we then chew his flesh according to sense and drink his blood? But if he says this intelligibly, then the Passover too is intelligible and not sensible.

[Καὶ ] ὅ[τ]ι [νοητόν ἐστι] τὸ πάσχα [καὶ] οὐ τ[οῦτο τὸ αἰσθη]τόν, α[ὐτὸς] λέγ[ει· "Ἐὰν μ]ὴ φάγη[τ]έ μο[υ τὴν σάρ]κα καὶ πί[η]τέ μο[υ τὸ] αἷμα, οὐκ ἔχετε ζωὴ[ν ἐν] ἑαυτοῖς". Ὀφείλομ[εν ἄρ]α κατὰ αἰσθητὸν τὰς [σ]άρκας αὐτοῦ τρώγειν καὶ τὸ αἷμα αὐτοῦ πίνειν; Εἰ δὲ τοῦτο νοητῶς λέγει, ἄρα νοητὸν καὶ οὐκ αἰσθητόν ἐστι τὸ πάσχα.
