The sacrifice and the eating as roast
And the sacrificing takes place in Egypt, under Pharaoh's rule — the rule that is according to earth and pressed by darkness, which is ignorance. And those under the rule of this ruler of Egypt are in much ignorance of blindness. He himself, having settled in, is held by the glory of his lifting-up, as he said: "Who is the Lord? I do not know, and I will not send Israel away," confessing the same as "I will set my throne above the clouds; I will go up into heaven; I will be equal to the Most High."
