Burning the remainder
And let these things have been said by me to this extent. Having sown fruitful starting-points through these marks, so that what has been said by us as in a little, incompletely, may be filled out at large by those who are well-disposed and love learning — as the Word has set it before us, so also to them, according to the same grace that is in Christ, may God grant it.

Ταῦτα δὲ ἐπὶ τοσοῦτόν μοι εἰρήσθω. Ἀφορμὰς εὐκάρπους ἐγκατασπείρας διὰ τῶν|| ἐγχαράξεων τούτων, ἵνα τὰ ἡμῖν ὡς ἐν ὀλίγῳ ἐλλειπῶς λεχθέντα διὰ τῶν φιλοφρόνων καὶ φιλομαθῶν ἐν πλάτει προσαναπληρωθῇ, καθὼς ἡμῖν παρέστησεν ὁ λόγος, οὕτως κἀκείνοις κατὰ τὸ αὐτὸ τῆς ἐν X(ριστ)ῷ χάριτος παράσχοι ὁ θ(εό)ς.
