Matthew 27:11
They brought Jesus to Pilate — and they themselves were handed over to the Roman armies. And what was foretold about them through the holy prophets has been fulfilled. One says, “Woe to the lawless; evils will come upon him according to his works.” Another: “As you did, so it will be to you; your recompense will be repaid on your head.”

Ἐπειδὴ τὰ ὑπὲρ ἑαυτοὺς ἤθελον μανθάνειν οἱ μαθηταί, ἀφορμὴν εὑρίσκει τοῦ κωλύειν αὐτοὺς τῶν τοιούτων τὸ μὴ εἰδέναι καθὸ ἄν θρωπος καί φησιν μηδὲ τοὺς κατ' οὐρανὸν ἁγίους ἀγγέλους δύνασθαι ταῦτα εἰδέναι.
