Matthew 5:9
Peacemakers are not only those who reconcile enemies, but also those who tame anger and base desire, living rightly in deed and word through unfailing faith — and those who re-teach unbelievers and lead them to faith, making God’s enemies friends to him.
Blessed are such people, as those who have imitated the Son of God. They will be called sons, sharing immortality, or they will reign with Christ at his second coming.
