Matthew 8:3
By the touch he accomplished the cleansing, making clear that his holy flesh is also needed for sanctification. The Spirit cleanses; communion with the body produces sanctification. Touching the leper, the Savior healed him, showing that the Spirit in him heals diseases, while the body, by contact, grants sanctification.
