The clothing of those at the meal
For they go over through the name of this mystery, having partaken of it, having procured for themselves salvation: not to be destroyed together with the firstborn of the Egyptians from Pharaoh, who sits on his throne, even to the maidservant at the mill — that is, of those who are in a lifting-up of wealth and tyranny, in ignorance, and have not recognized the one who raises kings from a dunghill and seats them on royal thrones.

Ὑπερβαίνουσιν γὰρ διὰ τῆς ὀνομασίας τοῦ μυστηρίου τούτου μετειληφότες αὐτοῦ, σωτηρίαν ἑαυτοῖς πορισάμενοι τὸ μὴ συνεξολεθρευθῆναι τοῖς πρωτοτόκοις τῶν Αἰγυπτίων ἀπὸ Φαραώ, ὃς καθῆται ἐπὶ τοῦ θρόνου αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἕως παιδίσκης τῆς παρὰ τὸν μύλον, ὅ ἐστιν τῶν ἐν ἐπάρσει πλούτου καὶ τυραννίδος ὄντων ἐν ἀγνοίᾳ καὶ μὴ ἐπιγνόντων τὸν βασιλεῖς ἐγείροντα ἀπὸ κοπρίας καὶ καθιζάνοντα ἐπὶ θρόνους βασιλικούς.
